ABOUT TENZING

tenzing kalden is a tibetan-american actor, director and writer based in new york city. 

she was raised by her doting grandparents in darjeeling, india. at age 8, tenzing moved to brooklyn, new york with her parents. a proud new yorker, she also considers the himalayas her home and hopes to one day see a free tibet.

when she is not working, she is most likely trying to get through her recommended movies list (recent favorite: rebuilding dir. max walker-silverman), or escaping the nyc bubble by way of trying new food, hikes upstate or walks in prospect park with her rescue dog flynn.

most recently she performed as the titular role in macbeth at the london academy of drama and art. she can also be seen in fbi on cbs, succession on hbo max, and ramy on hulu.
